We filmed the Christmas Party in the atelier last week.  It was just one day before the cast came off.  Guess who was too cheap to hire a Renta Santa?  Actually, not.  I enjoyed my part very much.  The story was suggested by one of our Newsletter readers.  It looked so good on paper, that I just ran with it.  I played Santa and handed all of the guys gifts and they signed the cast.  Now I'll have a nice souvenir of that horrible experience for quite awhile.  I've installed it on the trophy shelf.  Couldn't have been a better cast.  Unfortunately both Rosta and Pavel Korsakov had to serve behind the cameras, or the party would have been even better.  Pavel Korsakov brought his dog Ginny.  Whenever his happens its always a struggle to keep Buddy and Ginny separated.  Let me just say that Buddy has amorous designs on Ginny that are not reciprocated.  We gave out the small presents.  And then I'd wrapped Hynek in a great big present and gave him to the rest of the guys.  I'd been to the supermarket and bought a very large can of whipped cream and a stock of maraschino cherries.  Both came in quite handy.  There's something special that you should know about this shoot.  DreamBoat called Pavel Nikos and said that he would like to be in the party, but there were two conditions:  He and Wolf wanted to be in it together and not to have anything to do with any of the other guys.  Hmmmm.  Sounded interesting so I agreed.  I was running the second video camera and decided to keep an especial eye on Wolf and DreamBoat.  I do not think that they had been practicing at home (I think that they will now).  And it was very obvious to me that they had both been anticipating this moment for a very long time.  I feel that they were just using the excuse of 'work' to try something out that they had both wanted to do with each other for a very long time.  Consequently, the Christmas Party is a very special moment for them and for us getting to watch their first time together.

I'll have more to say in the audio commentary.  Alas, my old video camcorder gave out after all of those miles on this shoot.  But it did not fail until we got to the shower sequence.  And that was captured on the number one camera.  Not to fear, I've ordered a replacement camera that I'll pick up during the trip to America next month.  Also, the Christmas Wank Party will be for sale as a separate one hour and fifty minute video cassette.  We aren't offering the VCDs this time, because they were not nearly as popular as folks had told us that they would be.  Alas, House One could not get the link up before the holidays.  So, I've put a mock-up of the box.  By clicking it, you can send me an e-mail and I'll send you the link to buy the video as soon as it is on-line.
