Next week, they'll be having the NATO meeting in Prague. With so many residents of Prague, I am seriously thinking of taking a couple of days off and going to Karlovy Vary. I just feel that next week would be a good time to get out of Dodge for a few days. Most folks from these parts remember the violent demonstrations during the IMF conference in Prague a couple of years back. Global conditions have surely changed much for the worse since then. With so many world leaders gathering in Prague next week right after Bin Laden reemerged with a new series of threats, lots prudent Praguers are thinking of short vacations. I doubt that anything really dangerous will happen, but I have a feeling that there will be some potentially violent demonstrations. Regardless with transportation already hampered by the flood, it will certainly not be easy to get around town. Come what may, I'll definitely put the Newsletter out, maybe by remote control from Karlovy Vary.
