Our shoot with Jaroslav got off to a very poor start.  He drove up from Brno to do the shoot.  That's a three hour drive under optimal conditions.  However, he got stuck in traffic and was terribly late.  Consequently, we had to knock his shoot out of the cue and do the following shoot first.  Meanwhile, Jaroslav arrived in a rather cross mood.  He had to wait further while we finished the other shoot.  When we finally started shooting him, he needed something to lash out at, so he refused to allow us to video his shoot.  Tomas and I had a discussion about this.  I could have made the situation worse by insisting that he allow the video or 'no shoot.'  However, after what Jarolsav had been through, I waived the video and tried to calm down a bad situation.  I couldn't send him home after that ordeal with no money.  He did seem to calm down somewhat near the end of the shoot.  I'm sorry that all of these bad things happened during this shoot because I rated Jaroslav very highly.  Hopefully, he'll ask for more work and won't have such bad luck getting to Prague next time.
