You know what they say about March? In like a lion and out like a lamb. Looks like it will be true this year. We experience heavy, heavy snow storms early this month. In the last few days, it's all melted in Prague, but not the mountains. We've experienced very spring like weather here. I must admit, I was about ready for winter to end. And maybe it has. There might be a few more gusts before the month ends. It was almost shirt-sleeve weather today.
Remember when I told you we had to cancel a shoot because the model called saying the lower floors of his apartment were on fire and he was trapped on an upper floor and couldn't get out? One of our photographers really got me when I started to laugh: "Only in the Czech Republic...." Merak, the photographer, said, "Don't laugh, he is dead." Turned out to be droll Czech humor. The model was Marian Borovy. We re-scheduled the shoot for the following week. Just so happens we're presenting this shoot tonight. I handed my Backstage camera to the newest member of our post production department so I could operate a 'big' stills camera. And 'Stuart' took these excellent photos. Marian suffered minor burns in the fire and his right hand was covered in bandages. Many members just love casts and bandages. The shoot was scheduled as a wrestling shoot, unfortunately, Marian was in no condition to wrestle. So, I turned a negative into a positive, and we made a wounded comrade shoot. Marian and lovely Ivan Bartok.
On Sunday, I'll continue my Backstage report on the snow shoots we did a weekend ago. As we publishing Ivan and Marian's shoot tonight, I figured I'd better let you see these great Backstage photos while they're 'fresh.'

As I reported in the last couple of Newsletters it is now possible for AOL Members to UNBLOCK our emails from AOL's spam filters. Someone at AOL must have been listening to their customers. One of our erstwhile Members has written a manual for AOL users to go in and unblock us in the spam filters. We'll find a place to permanently post this link, but for now it's right here:
I have also checked Earthlink. Their Members can go in and unblock specific email addresses from their spam filters. I understand that Yahoo email has the ability to unblock specific addresses. If you fail to receive our Newsletters, the first thing to do is make sure at your ISP that we have not been blocked by their spam filters. WE DO NOT SEND SPAM. Newsletters subscribers must positively subscribe. However, many of you are registered through the same ISPs. Consequently, when the ISP receives numerous identical emails from the same email address, all too frequently, their spam software assumes it's spam, and blocks the sending email address. Just recently, many IPS have changed their spam software whereby their members can unblock specific email addresses. So, no Newsletter email? First thing to check is your IPS or email client's spam filters.
